How to Get Maxed on RiftMu: The Full Roadmap
Last updated: 1 September 2026 · every number on this page comes from the live server files
A lot of new players tell us the same thing: “I don’t know what to do except auto-train to max level.” Totally fair — MU doesn’t explain itself. Here’s the truth: auto-training is maybe 20% of the game. The other 80% is a loop of quests, resets, class evolutions, daily events and gear upgrades, and once you see the loop, the game clicks. This page is the whole loop, start to finish, in plain words.

What “maxed” actually means on RiftMu
“Max level” is not the finish line — it’s the starting gun. A truly maxed character has all of this:
| Goal | The cap | How you get there |
|---|---|---|
| Regular level | 400 | Normal grinding. You’ll hit this many times (see resets). |
| Master + Majestic levels | 1,400 on top of your 400 | Keeps counting up after level 400. A “done” character is total level 1,800. |
| Class evolution | 5th class | Quest chains at level 150, 220, 380–400, then total level 800 and 1,200. |
| Resets | 100 | Each trip to level 400 can be “cashed in” for a reset that pays Ruud. |
| Stats | 60,000 per stat | Level-ups + reset points, added with /addstr-style commands. |
| Gear | +15 excellent endgame sets, 5th-tier wings and beyond | The gear ladder in Stage 6. |
RiftMu runs one Permanent Realm — medium EXP rate, built as a long-term world with no wipe cycle. It had a single fresh start on 28 August 2026, so right now everyone is racing from the same starting line — a great moment to begin.
Stage 1 — Your first hour (level 1–89)
Every new character starts with a real head start: +9 gear for your class already equipped, 15,000,000 Zen in your pocket, and 200 points in every stat. You don’t need to buy anything to start killing.
- Spend your stat points in bulk: type
/addstr 500(or/addagi//addvit//addene, whatever your class wants — check stats explained). Later, VIP 3 unlocks/autostat, which spends points for you automatically while you grind. - Set up MU Helper (the built-in auto-battle helper) and clear the early maps: Lorencia/Noria → Devias → Dungeon → Lost Tower → Atlans. At our rates you’ll move maps every few minutes; the full route is in leveling spots.
- Pick up jewels, ignore junk. Jewels (Bless, Soul, Chaos, and the custom ones) are the real money. Item drops you don’t need can be sold to NPCs, but jewels never should be — players pay way more.
- Log the website habits on day one: vote (every 12 hours = 1 Vote Point — these buy VIP later), and claim the daily reward. The clocks only run when you do.
That’s it for the tutorial zone. The game really starts at level 89.
Stage 2 — The Guide Quest (level 89+) and the MU Pass: your free 45,000 Ruud, wings and gear
This is the thing most confused players are missing. At level 89 a quest line called the Guide Quest starts by itself — no NPC to find, no item needed. Open your Quest window and look for the Guide Quest tab; a tracker also sits on the right side of your screen.
It’s a 26-quest hunt track across 4 chapters (new chapters unlock at levels 89, 140, 220 and 300). Every quest is simple — and short: kill just 10 of one monster on one map, a couple of minutes each. Every quest has a warp button that teleports you straight to the right hunting spot — use it, always.
Why you should care — the track pays out, one time, per character:
- 45,000 Ruud in Ruud Boxes (the four biggest quests pay a 10,000 box each) — a serious head start on your first endgame Ruud-shop piece, free, for a couple hundred kills total.
- The entire wing materials ladder: 1st, 2nd and 3rd Wing Relics, 4th Wing Relics + Wing Core stones, 5th Wing Relics and, at the finale, a +13 3rd-tier wing for your own class.
- Errtels, earring boxes, Temple Guard and Imperial upgrade materials, stacks of jewels, and five Jewels of Experience (a permanent +5% EXP option for one item). (The hunts pay no Zen — but the “Welcome to RiftMU” milestone hands every character 20,000,000 Zen automatically at login.)
- NEVER press “Give Up”. It is permanent. The quest closes forever, pays nothing, and never comes back.
- Hunt exactly where the warp button drops you. Three quests (Vulcanus, Ferea and Bloody Tarkan) have look-alike monsters with the same name that give zero credit — the “Bloody Wolf” quest wants the level-800 wolves on the Bloody Tarkan map, not the little ones on regular Tarkan. The warp spot is always the correct crowd.
The MU Pass: 20 levels of loot, every season
Next to the one-time Guide Quest, the MU Pass (Season Pass window in your client) pays out every season — seasons are 4-week cycles that restart with fresh rewards. You level it to 20 by playing: 25 daily missions (kills, event clears, logins) feed it pass EXP, and doing your dailies gets you to level 20 in roughly 16 of the season’s 28 days. Item rewards land in the Gremory Case (the chest icon) — claim your levels before the season ends, unclaimed rewards die with it.
- Free track (everyone): 16,500 Ruud per season, both Shiny Earring Boxes, 1st–4th Wing Relics, Jewels of Max HP and All Stats, 10 Jewels of Harmony, Golden Sentences, Spider Artifact Boxes, 10 Ability Crystals and Bless of Light stacks.
- Gold track: free while you have any VIP (it upgrades automatically at login), or 120,000 WCoin without. Adds another 35,000 Ruud plus extra relics, Ability Enhancement Stones, Wing Core Reinforcement Stones, a Talisman of Chaos Assembly and more custom jewels.
- Premium track: 300,000 WCoin, on top of Gold. Adds another 53,000 Ruud (104,500 per season all-in), season-long pass buffs, Imperial Upgrade Stones, Uriel’s Feathers and the 5th Wing Relic at level 20. WCoin is farmable, so even Premium is donation-free.
Stage 3 — Level 400: start the reset loop
At level 399+ you can type /reset. Your level goes back to 1 — and here’s what makes it worth it on RiftMu:
- You keep everything that matters: your stats stay (they keep stacking toward the 60,000 cap), your equipment stays on, your Master Levels and skill trees are untouched, you don’t even get teleported.
- Every reset pays Ruud: 70 Ruud per reset for your first 20, rising in steps to 280 per reset near the cap, plus milestone bonuses every 10 resets. All 100 resets together pay 21,100 Ruud.
- The cost is Zen: 5,000,000 Zen times your reset count (capped at 200M per reset). Your 15M starter Zen plus the 20M welcome-quest payout cover the first ones; after that, normal grinding and selling drops keep up easily.
- The cap is 100 resets. EXP dips slightly as you stack them (100% → 95% at 20 resets → 90% at 40 → 85% floor at 50+), so resets stay fast the whole way.
Lazy mode: /reset auto re-fires the reset automatically every time you hit the requirement — it needs VIP 3, which costs just 100 Vote Points for 14 days. That’s free from voting twice a day for under 2 months, faster with missions and invites. This is the “auto-train to max” you already do — except now it loops itself and pays you.
After 20 resets + level 400 + 50,000,000 Zen you can take a Grand Reset: it converts those 20 resets into 20 Grand Reset Points, worth 15,000 WCoinC each (300,000 total). Full rules in the reset guide.
Stage 4 — Class evolutions and Master Levels
Your class evolves 4 times. Each evolution unlocks stronger skills and, later, whole new skill trees. The shortcut command /evoquest pushes the current evolution quest forward the moment you meet its requirements — use it at every stage.
| Evolution | When | What it takes |
|---|---|---|
| 2nd class | Level 150 | Two collect-quests (Scroll of the Emperor + your class treasure). Shortcut: the NPC David in the Lorencia bar sells every quest collectible — buy, turn in, done. Fees: 1M + 2M Zen. |
| Hero quests | Level 220 | Two more collect-quests (3M + 2M Zen). Same trick: David sells the items. |
| 3rd class | Level 380–400 | Collect 3 trophies (David sells them too), then fight: kill 20 each of three Balgass soldiers, then 1 Dark Elf. Fees: 5M + 7M + 10M Zen. |
| 4th class | Total level 800 | A 3-fight chain in the qualification zone: boss Cent has 120M HP (no timer), plus one 5-minute wave fight. Doable with Ruud gear from your event income. |
| 5th class | Total level 1,200 | The real test: kill boss Eunice (60M HP) within 60 seconds — three times, with adds. Then hand in 300 Jewels of Creation and beat Eunice Giant (also 60s) to win a random Giant mount. This is a gear check — come back after Stage 6 if you fail. |
Master Levels (this is where “total level” comes from)
- After your 3rd class evolution, hitting level 400 starts Master EXP: kills on monsters level 95+ fill a second, permanent level bar. Master Levels survive resets.
- As 3rd class you can reach Master Level 400 (= total level 800), which is exactly the door to 4th class.
- As 4th class the bar continues (called Majestic levels, needs monsters level 160+) all the way to Master Level 1,400 — total level 1,800, the true level cap. Skill-tree points keep coming until ML 1,200.
- The 4th-class skill tree is quality-of-life tuned on RiftMu: one click fully maxes a skill node (branch-opener nodes are the exception — they grow 1 point per click and unlock their branch at 10).
Stage 5 — Where to train after level 400
After 400 you rotate through the master-level map belt. Warp costs Zen and checks your total level. The short version of the ladder:
| Total level | Map (warp) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 400 | Ferea | Your first master map. |
| 700 | Nixie’s Lake | First map whose monsters also count for 4th-class (Majestic) EXP later. |
| 770–800 | Deep Dungeon 1–5, Swamp of Darkness | Deep Dungeon floors scale up as you go. |
| 920 | Kubera Mine | |
| 1,000–1,190 | Abyss of Atlans → Scorched Canyon → Red Smoke Icarus → Arenil Temple → Ashen Aida → Kethotum → Kanturu Undergrounds | This belt is the best EXP-per-hour you can reach without VIP — the whole post-1000 curve was rebalanced (monster HP cut, EXP left alone). Farm it. |
| 1,220+ | Ignis Volcano → Bloody Tarkan → Tormenta → Twisted Karutan → Kardamahal → Swamp of Destruction → Aquilas → Raklion of Oblivion | These endgame warps need VIP 4 (315 Vote Points / 21 days) — plan your voting ahead. EXP efficiency stays as good or better up through Kardamahal; the last three maps trade EXP speed for better loot. |
Stage 6 — The gear ladder, from shop gear to endgame
Nothing on RiftMu needs stat points to wear — gear only checks your level. So gearing is a pure ladder; climb it rung by rung:
- Shop gear (level 1+): class NPC shops sell gear up to +7. Your starter +9 set is already better; skip shopping.
- Upgrade what you wear: Jewels of Bless take an item to +6, then Jewels of Soul carry it to +9 — both 100% success on this server. +10 to +15 goes through the Chaos Machine at 80% per try. Bless (3M Zen) and Soul (6M Zen) are sold by the Lorencia bar NPCs — upgrading is never gated on luck-farming here.
- Wings: the Guide Quest hands you every relic. Mix rates: 2nd wings 90%, 3rd/4th/5th wings 70%. Warning: wing mixes give a random class’s wing — sell wrong-class results, they’re valuable. Your finale reward (+13 3rd wing) is class-correct, so mixes are for pushing to 5th tier. Wings absorb up to 55% of damage at +15 — level them.
- Ruud gear (level 400): spend event Ruud at Priest James. Blood Angel is the first tier (endgame pieces run roughly 50,000–100,000 Ruud — your Guide Quest payout covers the start). Weapon first, then armor, and finish a tier before starting the next: the Ruud guide has the full tier tree up through the Season 21 lines.
- Excellent + Supreme tier: excellent gear drops everywhere (hunt bosses); the Supreme boxes in the X-Shop pay a piece of the 600+-item custom endgame pool at +15 with Luck and +28 — two of them (Supreme Defensive / Offensive Box) cost WCoin, 2,500,000 each, so they are farmable without donating.
- The Volt endgame: the two top scheduled world bosses (Abomination and KingZ Lion) plus the Deep Dungeon Gorgon boss in Deep Dungeon 5 each drop the Volt Jewel at 10% per kill. Volt Jewels level the top wing lines (Dragon Power, Wings of Conqueror, Angel & Devil, Wings of Power) and the Amulet of Volt chain — every application is 100% success, +15 rolls over into the next item. This is the years-long mountain at the very top.
- Stack extended options forever: custom “Jewel of ...” gems add permanent options to gear at 100% success — Jewel of Max HP (+100 HP each, up to 300,000 HP per item), Jewel of All Stats (+1 each), Jewel of Experience (+1% EXP, max 5). They drop from every custom boss and (with daily caps) from ordinary grinding. This is the main reason to kill world bosses daily.
Your daily money printers — do these every day
This is the real answer to “what do I do besides auto-train”. Events out-pay grinding for every minute they run. All times shown in your timezone with live countdowns on /events.
| Activity | How often | What it pays |
|---|---|---|
| Boss Battle Together — the #1 Ruud source | Every 3 hours (8×/day), 2 entries/day | 20,000 Ruud per run if you deal 30M+ damage in the 5-minute fight, plus a Harmony jewel box. Up to 40,000 Ruud/day (more entries with VIP 6+). |
| Blood Castle | 22×/day, 5 entries | Guaranteed Ruud per clear: 250–500 at BC1, scaling to 2,500–5,000 at BC7, + 3,000 WCoin, + bonus boxes at high tiers. |
| Devil Square | 22×/day, 5 entries | Ruud by rank (up to 80–160) + 3,000 WCoin. |
| Chaos Castle | 12×/day, 2 entries | Ruud by tier (up to 150–300) + 5,000 WCoin. PvP survival — fun even when you lose. |
| Custom world bosses | Fixed spawn times, 2–3×/day per boss | Guaranteed Jewels of Max HP (1–6 by tier), Ruud, 50% Mysterious Stone, WCoin. Tiers run from Ice Queen (100k HP, starter maps) up to Abomination (1.2B HP). Giant Treasure literally cannot fight back — free loot on starter maps. Loot goes to the highest damage dealer, and party members share. |
| Golden invasions | 9×/day | Box drops. Three starter goldens (Budge Dragon, Goblin, Rabbit — 4–6k HP) are meant for brand-new players. |
| Hide & Seek | 32×/day | Find a hidden NPC in Lorencia, Devias, Noria or Kalima — the first hint (2 min) names the map, later hints (5/8 min) narrow the spot. Finder gets a Jewel of Max HP + 300k Zen + Ruud. Zero combat. |
| Scramble Words | 4×/day | Unscramble a word in chat. Hard words pay excellent gear; easy words pay jewels + Ruud. |
| Guild Battle | 4×/day (/regguildbattle) | Winners split 300,000 WCoin + 6,000 Ruud (leader gets 100k + 5k on top); even losers split a pool. Needs only 3 online guildmates. |
| IceWind Valley / Arca / Castle Siege | Daily / 4 days a week / weekly | The big-guild league: WCoin pools, Ruud, Volt-era rewards. Join a guild and tag along. |
| Just being online | Always | 10 WCoin per minute (600/hour) for free. Many elite field monsters pay 50–100 WCoin per kill on top. |
| Ruud Box grind | Daily cap: 10 boxes | Endgame-map monsters drop Ruud Boxes worth 2,000 each — up to 20,000 Ruud/day from pure grinding. |
| MU Pass missions | 25 daily missions | Pass EXP — your normal grinding and event runs complete them. The free reward track alone is 16,500 Ruud per season, plus relics and jewels (see Stage 2). |
| Voting + daily missions | Every 12 hours | Vote Points → VIP tiers (auto-reset at VIP 3, endgame warps at VIP 4, free MU Pass Gold track at any VIP). Daily/weekly login rewards add EXP + stat points. |
The 5 currencies, in one table

| WCoin | 10/minute online, 3,000–5,000 per event clear, elite mobs, boss kills, Guild Battle pools | The X-Shop: Jewels of Creation, wing relics, Supreme Defensive/Offensive boxes (2.5M), consumables; also the player-market currency |
| Ruud | Events (see above), resets, Guide Quest, the MU Pass, boss kills, daily box cap | Priest James’ shop: Blood Angel → Season 21 gear tiers, wing-core materials |
| Vote Points | Voting every 12h, daily missions, inviting friends | VIP time (VIP 3 = auto-reset, VIP 4 = endgame warps, VIP 6+ = extra event entries) |
| GP (Gold Points) | Donations only | Premium X-Shop items. Optional — every combat-relevant path above is farmable. Read our own donation policy before spending anything. |
7 mistakes new players make (please don’t)
- Pressing “Give Up” on a Guide Quest. It’s permanent. Never.
- Auto-training past level 89 with the Guide Quest tab closed. The hunts are only 10 kills each now — the whole 45k-Ruud track costs you a few hundred kills. And claim your MU Pass levels while you’re at it.
- Parking at level 400 without resetting. Standing at the cap earns nothing; the reset loop earns Ruud and stat points.
- Selling jewels to NPCs. NPCs pay one-third of buy price. Players pay real value.
- Skipping events because “my gear is bad”. BC1/DS1/CC1 open at level 50 and scale to you. Hide & Seek and Giant Treasure need zero combat power.
- Mixing 5th wings and rage-quitting a wrong-class result. The mix is random-class by design — sell it, buy yours.
- Donating on day one. Play free first — our donation policy says the same thing.
Quick FAQ
- Do I lose my stuff when I reset? No. Stats, gear, master levels, position — all kept. Only the level goes back to 1.
- Why did my quest kill counter go down? Server restart between autosaves. Keep killing; saved progress is never lost.
- What’s the fastest Ruud? The Guide Quest track first — 45k for a few hundred kills, one-time. After that: Boss Battle Together (20k per run), Blood Castle, the MU Pass and the reset loop.
- Is VIP pay-to-win? VIP comes from Vote Points, gives no EXP or drop bonus, and its combat perks start at VIP 6. You mainly want VIP 3 (auto-reset) and VIP 4 (endgame warps) — both vote-affordable.
- I still feel lost. Join the Discord and ask — or start with the shorter first-day checklist.
