These Terms of Service govern your use of the RiftMu website and game. Take a minute to read them before creating an account or spending any money here.
1. Using the Site & Game
Follow the law and the server rules while you play. Bots, macros and bug abuse are forbidden. We can change, pause or shut down any part of the game or website whenever necessary.
2. Accounts
Your account is yours alone: keep the password private and secure. Losses caused by shared or stolen credentials are your own responsibility. Accounts that break these terms can be suspended or closed.
3. User Conduct
- Cheats, hacks and third-party tools are banned.
- Harassment, hate speech and toxic disruption are not tolerated.
- Spam, unsolicited advertising and malicious behavior are prohibited.
- Treat staff and fellow players with respect, always.
4. Payments & Donations
Every purchase and donation is voluntary and final. Virtual goods carry no real-world value and can be adjusted or withdrawn at any time. Chargebacks and payment fraud lead to a permanent ban.
5. Refund Policy
Purchases are non-refundable unless the law says otherwise. If you spot a billing mistake, tell us within 7 days.
6. Content You Create
Whatever you upload or share stays your responsibility, and we may remove anything that breaks rules or laws. By submitting content you give us a worldwide license to use, show or adapt it for running and promoting the game and site.
7. Intellectual Property
Trademarks, artwork and other content remain the property of their respective owners. RiftMu is a fan-operated project with no affiliation to Webzen. Please respect intellectual property.
8. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)
Think your copyrighted work appears here without permission? Send us the details — we review and answer every legitimate DMCA notice quickly.
9. Privacy Policy
We only gather the data needed to run the service — email, IP address, cookies — for account management, security and analytics. It is never sold. The full Privacy Policy explains your rights.
10. Cookies & Tracking
Cookies make the site work smoothly. You can block them in your browser, though some features may stop functioning. Performance tracking may rely on third-party analytics such as Google Analytics.
11. Children & Minors
Players younger than 16 need a parent's permission to sign up. Contact us if a child registered without consent and the account will be removed right away.
12. No Warranties
The website and game come “as is”, with no warranties of any kind. Uninterrupted service and bug-free gameplay cannot be promised.
13. Liability Limits
RiftMu accepts no liability for damages arising from the website, client or services — including lost data or lost virtual items.
14. Data Protection & Your Rights
Want a copy of your personal data, or want it erased? Just ask. We follow the applicable privacy laws, GDPR and CCPA included.
15. Updates to These Terms
These terms can change over time. Major revisions are announced on the site or by email, and continuing to play after a change counts as accepting it.
16. Disputes & Governing Law
Dutch law (or the jurisdiction that applies to you) governs any dispute. Talk to us first — most issues get solved directly, and arbitration is only an option where the law permits it.
