What the Combo Ring is and who benefits
Some background first. The skill combo itself is an old mechanic [Official]: land three different skills in the right sequence within a tight timing window and the third hit triggers bonus combo damage. In the official game it belongs to the Dark Knight line, unlocked through the level 220 quest chain. Upgrading with Emperor Jewels

The exact jewels-per-level cost and the bonus at each step vary by server build, so open the upgrade window in game and read the requirements before committing anything - do not budget from numbers you saw on another server.
Where to farm Emperor Jewels on RiftMu: boss hunts and events on both realms, with one big caveat - the Speed Realm Summer Edition (opened 10 July 2026) has boosted drop rates on Emperor Jewels, along with High Kingz, Supreme and Volt. Combo basics refresher

- Use three different skills in sequence - repeating a skill breaks the chain.
- Each hit must land inside the timing window; too fast or too slow resets the combo.
- Practise on tanky monsters first, where you can see the combo damage number pop without duel pressure.

- Upgrading the ring before learning the combo. A +0 ring on a player who lands every combo beats a maxed ring on one who whiffs the window.

- Practising only in duels. PvP pressure ruins timing you have not automated yet - drill on monsters, then take it to the arena.
