MU Online Commands and Hotkeys on RiftMu

This page lists every player command available in game on RiftMu, grouped by what you actually use it for: levelling and stats, chat, and events. All commands are typed straight into the normal chat line and confirmed with Enter - and on a 5000x-99,999x server you will be typing the stat commands hundreds of times, so it pays to learn them properly.

Levelling and stat commands

These are the commands that drive the reset loop. Stat points on RiftMu are assigned by command rather than by clicking the character sheet, with a cap of 60,000 per stat on both realms.

/reset auto	`/reset auto`	Automatically resets your character every time you meet the requirements.	VIP 5+ only. The AFK-grinder's best friend on high-rate realms.
/addstr	`/addstr 5000`	Adds the given number of free stat points to Strength.	Points are committed instantly - there is no undo command. Double-check the number.
/addagi	`/addagi 3000`	Adds points to Agility (defense, attack speed, attack rating).	Attack speed breakpoints matter for every class, casters included.
/addvit	`/addvit 2000`	Adds points to Vitality (health).	Cheap survivability early; many endgame builds trim it later.
/addene	`/addene 5000`	Adds points to Energy (mana and magic damage).	Main stat for wizard-type classes; a token amount covers skill costs on melee.
/addcmd	`/addcmd 4000`	Adds points to Command, the Dark Lord's pet-scaling stat.	Only relevant on Dark Lord. [Official stat]
/addstr auto	`/addstr auto 500`	Keeps assigning points to Strength automatically as you level.	Set it once per lap instead of retyping after every level burst.
/pkclear	`/pkclear`	Clears your Player Killer status.	Do this before event registration - PK status commonly blocks entry. [Common on private servers]
/evoquest	`/evoquest`	Runs your class evolution quest step from the chat line.	Requirements depend on your class and progress; see the classes page for evolution paths.

Chat and social commands

MU's chat channels are prefix-based: what you type before the message decides who reads it.

/post	`/post WTS Jewel of Bless`	Sends a server-wide post message every player can see.	The main trade and party-finding channel. Keep it short; nobody scrolls.
/gpost	`/gpost CS practice at 20:00`	Sends a post to your guild.	Best for announcements that must not drown in regular guild chat.
~ (tilde)	`~pull the boss left`	Party chat - visible only to your current party.	The prefix goes directly before the text, no space needed.
@ (at)	`@who needs a Devil Square slot?`	Guild chat - visible to your guild.	Everyday guild talk; use /gpost for the important stuff.
@@ (double at)	`@@Arca War starts in 10`	Alliance chat - visible to all guilds in your alliance.	Essential during Castle Siege and Arca War coordination.
F4 / F5	press `F5`	Adjust the chat window.	Use them to pop chat back open after closing it mid-fight.
F6 / F7	press `F6`	F6 toggles 3D view on/off; F7 resets the 3D camera to its original position.	With 3D on, zoom with the middle mouse button and hold right-click to rotate.

Event and VIP commands

/regicewind	`/regicewind`	Registers your guild for the Icewind guild PvP event.	Guild masters only. On the Speed Realm, Icewind runs 8x per day with a 20-member cap and boosted Volt rewards; see the Icewind guide.

Command tips that save you pain

Stat commands are permanent. There is no refund command, so read the number back before you press Enter. An extra zero in /addvit 20000 is 18,000 points you wanted somewhere else, gone for the rest of the lap.
Add stats in big batches, but not all of them. Dump your main damage stat in bulk, then keep a few thousand points floating until you know the STR/AGI requirements of your next gear upgrade. Requirements you have not met mean items you cannot wear.
Set /addstr auto at the start of each lap. On 99,999x EXP you gain hundreds of levels in one pull; auto-allocation means those points are already working instead of sitting unspent.
Run /pkclear before the event window opens. Registering for Blood Castle or Devil Square with PK status is the classic way to miss an entry. Clear it early, not at the countdown.
Earn /reset auto instead of buying it. It needs VIP 5, and VIP 5 costs 1,260 Vote Points for 30 days in the VIP Vote Shop - one verified vote every 12 hours plus link-sharing points gets you there without spending a cent.
Watch your prefix in a fight. If a command comes out as ~/reset in party chat, you typed it after the tilde. Commands only work as plain chat-line input starting with the slash.

Common mistakes

Assuming commands from another server work here. Private servers ship different command sets. If a command you knew elsewhere does nothing on RiftMu, it does not exist here - this page is the authoritative list.
Typing commands into the wrong chat mode. A command swallowed by party or guild chat just embarrasses you; a stat number typed after a stray prefix does nothing and leaves you wondering where your points went.
Resetting at a bad moment. /reset takes effect immediately. Finish your event run and empty your hands first - do not reset mid-Blood Castle because the level requirement happened to tick over.
Ignoring /evoquest. Class evolutions unlock skills and stat efficiency you cannot get otherwise. If your damage feels flat for your reset count, check whether an evolution step is waiting.
Spamming /post. Server-wide posts are a shared resource. One clear trade message outperforms five noisy ones, and guild recruiting belongs in /gpost and the community channels.
