The 9999x Speed Realm Opens Friday 16 October
The Speed Realm is back, and it is built for one thing: playing MU Online the fun way from the very first minute. 9999x EXP, items that are easy to farm, more bosses on the map and a fresh world where every player starts at level 1 at the same second. The gates open on Friday 16 October 2026 at 15:00 CEST, which is 20:00 in Vietnam.

Everybody who has played MU Online knows that feeling: a brand-new server, an empty market, rankings with nobody on them yet, and every boss still up for grabs. That first week is when MU is at its best, and the Speed Realm is built to give you exactly that rush, minus the weeks of grinding that usually come with it.
It runs on Season 21 Part 2-3 with all 16 classes, on the same server files and the same team that have kept the Permanent Realm running since its grand opening on 28 August. So this is no rushed test server. It is a polished world with the speed turned all the way up.

When exactly does the Speed Realm open?

Is it free to play?
Yes. Creating an account, downloading the client and playing are all free. On the Speed Realm you can also earn Gold Points in game: see which events and bosses pay Gold Points and WCoin.
Is this the same Speed Realm as the summer?
No, it is a brand-new world. Fresh characters, empty rankings and an economy that starts from zero on opening day.
What happens to the Permanent Realm?
Nothing changes there. The Permanent Realm keeps running as RiftMu's long-term, no-wipe world with its medium EXP rate. The Speed Realm is a second, much faster way to play.
What happens when the Speed Realm season ends?
The Speed Realm is seasonal. When the season ends, you can export characters to the Permanent Realm, so you always keep what you donated for. The wipe policy explains how the export works.
