Why one network with two realms?

Instead of running five competing worlds, RiftMu consolidated everything into one network in 2026. The design is deliberate:
  • The Permanent Realm – 5000x EXP, 60,000 max stats, never wipes. Your characters and progress are safe long-term.
  • The Speed Realm – 99,999x EXP seasonal world for newer players to catch up, with 2-character export to the Permanent Realm when it closes.
  • One population – merging the legacy worlds concentrated players into fewer, busier realms instead of splitting them five ways.
  • One client – a single download covers every realm in the network.
  • GP reimbursement – legacy-realm players were reimbursed their GP during the 2026 merge instead of losing it.

FAQ: RiftMu servers and realms

Are FuryMU, RichMU, VoltMU and SilverMU still separate servers?
No. They merged into the RiftMu Permanent Realm in 2026, and their players received GP reimbursement. Their pages remain for history and for players finding them by name.
Are these official MU Online servers?
No. RiftMu is a community-run private server network and is not affiliated with Webzen or the official MU Online service.
Which realm should I start on?
For long-term progress, the Permanent Realm (5000x). To catch up fast or try the network, the seasonal Speed Realm (99,999x) — you can export two characters to the Permanent Realm when it closes.
What should I check before joining any MU Online server?
