MU Online Permanent Realm Grand Opening: Friday 28 August 2026

The wait is over. On Friday 28 August 2026 at 15:00 CEST β€” 20:00 Vietnam time β€” the RiftMu Permanent Realm opens officially. The last few weeks were the beta and bug-fixing stretch; from this moment the realm runs for real, and it is the world that never wipes.

⏰ One server, one moment: the gates open at 15:00 CEST on Friday 28 August 2026, which is 20:00 in Vietnam. Nobody gets an early start β€” wherever you play from, the realm goes live for everyone at the same second.

What Time Does the Grand Opening Start Where You Live?

The opening moment is 13:00 UTC on Friday 28 August 2026. Here is that same moment in the clocks our players actually use:

Why This Opening Is Different From a Seasonal Launch

Seasonal realms are sprints β€” they run hot for a few weeks and then close. The Permanent Realm is the opposite: it is built to be the place your account lives for years. Nothing here gets deleted at the end of a season, no reset button is waiting on a calendar, and the guild you build in September is still standing next spring. That is exactly why the official opening matters more than a seasonal one: the character you roll on Friday is the character you keep.

♾️ It Never Wipes

Your characters, items, resets and guild history stay put. No seasonal shutdown, no forced fresh start β€” the progress you make on opening weekend is still yours a year from now.

⚑ 5000x EXP, Not a Grind Wall

Levelling moves at a pace that respects your evening, but still leaves the climb worth something. You reach the real content β€” bosses, events, siege β€” without quitting your job to get there.

πŸ›‘οΈ 60,000 Max Stats

The base stat ceiling is 60,000, and a focused PvP or PvM build can push toward roughly 65,000 once gear, sockets and buffs stack on top. Builds have room to actually differ from each other.

πŸ‰ Bosses That Bite Back

Bosses hit harder on the Permanent Realm and jewels drop at medium rates. Kills are earned with a party and a plan, which is what makes the loot mean something.

The Last Few Weeks Were the Shakedown

Opening a server properly means breaking it first. The run-up to this date was a beta and bug-fixing period, and the results are public: 134 fixes across 26 updates, covering client crashes, random disconnects, Extra Damage behaviour in PvP, the Chaos Machine and the reset system. If you like reading the receipts before you commit a main, the full list is in the Season 21 patch notes.

The same goes for the numbers you can check yourself. Every combination and upgrade rate on the success rates page is pulled straight from the live server files β€” nothing below 65%, no hidden math behind a jewel click.

How to Be Ready When the Gates Open

Coming From the Speed Realm?

The seasonal Speed Realm is a catch-up world by design, and it was always meant to feed into the permanent one: when the season closes, you export two characters into the Permanent Realm. Anything you level there is not throwaway progress β€” pick your two carefully. The realm overview lays out how the two worlds differ side by side.

βš”οΈ Friday 28 August 2026, 15:00 CEST β€” 20:00 Vietnam time. Account ready, client patched, party assembled. This is the realm you settle in.
